LANE'S END FARM encompasses part of what was once Confederate Civil War general Abe Buford's BOSQUE BONITA FARM, later owned by John H. Morris. Domino's dam, Mannie Grey, was raised at Bosque Bonita, and Leamington stood at stud there. Bosque Bonita was part of the first 240 acres purchased by Texas-born Will Farish in 1979, who established LANE'S END FARM, since much enlarged to around 2,000 acres. Horses bred at Lane's End include the champions Mineshaft, A.P. Indy, Charismatic and Lemon Drop Kid. --PE
